Rather than reproducing a literal landscape, the design reduces these observations into monumental organic forms, allowing the viewer to interpret mountains, lakes, stones, islands or abstract shapes within the same composition.

The design avoids conventional symmetry and repetition. Large shapes are positioned freely across the shag carpet, creating visual movement from corner to corner while maintaining generous areas of warm ivory between them.
