Returns Policy

As many of our rugs are handcrafted and often produced according to specific customer requirements, return eligibility may vary depending on the nature of the product and order.
Eligible Returns
Returns may be considered under the following circumstances:
- An incorrect product was delivered.
- The product contains significant manufacturing defects.
- The delivered product substantially differs from the approved order specifications.
Any concerns should be reported within 7 days of delivery.
Photographs and supporting information may be requested to help assess the claim.
Custom-Made Products
Custom-made and personalized rugs are produced according to individual customer specifications.
As these products are specially manufactured for each customer, they are generally not eligible for return, exchange, or cancellation once production has commenced, except in cases involving verified manufacturing defects or order-related errors.
Customers are encouraged to carefully review and approve all specifications before production begins.
Transit Insurance
To provide additional peace of mind, eligible shipments may be protected by transit insurance during transportation.
Transit insurance helps safeguard orders against unforeseen incidents that may occur while the shipment is in transit, including accidental loss or significant transit-related damage.
In the event of a transit-related issue, customers should:
- Inspect the shipment immediately upon arrival.
- Take clear photographs of the packaging and product.
- Notify SIA Rugs within 48 hours of delivery.
- Retain all original packaging materials until the claim process is completed.
Our team will coordinate with the shipping carrier and insurance provider to review the claim and assist in achieving a timely resolution.
Approved claims may result in repair, replacement, reimbursement, or another suitable solution depending on the circumstances and insurance assessment.
Please note that transit insurance covers incidents occurring during transportation only and does not cover damage resulting from improper handling after delivery, misuse, neglect, normal wear and tear, or customer-caused damage.
Non-Returnable Situations
Returns may not be accepted under the following circumstances:
- Change of mind
- Incorrect measurements supplied by the customer
- Natural variations in handmade products
- Minor color differences caused by photography or screen settings
- Slight variations in texture, weave, or craftsmanship
- Normal wear and tear after use
As handcrafted products, each rug may feature unique characteristics that reflect authentic artisan craftsmanship and should not be considered defects.
Cancellations
Stock Products
Cancellation requests may be accepted if submitted before the product has been dispatched.
Custom Orders
Custom orders may only be cancelled before production begins.
Once materials have been allocated or manufacturing has started, cancellation may no longer be possible.
Refunds
Where a return request is approved, refunds will be processed after the returned item has been received and inspected.
Approved refunds will generally be issued through the original payment method whenever possible.
Refund processing times may vary depending on payment providers, banks, and financial institutions.
