The composition draws inspiration from aerial views of river channels moving through rugged desert and canyon terrain. From above, these waterways appear as irregular ribbons, narrowing, widening and dividing as they travel through the landscape. SHST11 translates this phenomenon into broad organic curves that move diagonally across the rug, producing an unmistakable sense of natural flow.
