Inspired by exposed rock strata, eroded canyon walls and tectonic formations, the design captures a landscape shaped by immense pressure and countless years of movement.

Each coloured plane behaves like a different geological layer. Some remain broad and solid, while others narrow, divide and disappear behind neighbouring formations. Together they create the impression of the earth opening to expose a hidden passage through its centre.

A large irregular opening forms the visual heart of the artwork. Instead of filling every part of the composition with textile, this negative space allows the wall itself to become part of the design.
